Marmot sleeping bags

One of the most important pieces of camping gear is the sleeping bag. A poor quality sleeping bag can make your nice miserable. Best Camping Gear Reviews has had the opportunity lately to try two different Marmot sleeping bags. We tried the Marmot Helium sleeping bag and the Marmot Atom sleeping bag.

The Marmot Helium sleeping bag is a super versatile, three season sleeping bag with a rating of +15 degrees. The Helium sleeping bag is filled with Ultralight 850 fill goose down and has a nylon shell that is treated with a durable water repellent. The sleeping bag also features a face muff with hood, and a down insulated draft tube.

The Marmot Atom sleeping bag is one of the lightest sleeping bags available to campers. This is a perfect sleeping bag for a quick trip to one of your favorite campgrounds. Since it is so light, you can easily pack it among your other camping equipment. The Atom sleeping bag has a water repellent nylon shell, is filled with 850 fill goose down, and has a classic trapezoidal foot box.

Both of the Marmot sleeping bags that Best Camping Gear Reviews tested were great. The Marmot Helium sleeping bag costs about $375.00 and the Marmot Atom sleeping bag costs about $225.00. Both can be found at large camping gear stores such as Cabelas, REI, Bass Pro Shops, or Sports Authority.
