Cabela's Coupon Codes

Happy New Year to all the Best Camping Gear Reviews readers out there! 2010 is going to be great for Best Camping Gear Reviews. We have some new ideas planned to make the main camping gear site and this camping equipment blog even better. Sorry about the absence from the last post but we have been busy doing the family things and then the holidays got in the way.

Over the holidays Best Camping Gear Reviews had the opportunity to go to Brian Head, Utah and also to Zion National Park in Utah. Wow both places were awesome. Those trips have inspired Best Camping Gear Reviews to expand our website and blog so that we cover all outdoor gear and sports.

Another idea that we had was to start promoting sales on camping gear sites. That is what today’s blog is about. We found some Cabela’s coupon codes that will help you save some money the next time you order some camping gear from Cabela’s.

Right now if you go to the Cabela’s official website you can save $20 on your next order of $100 or more. This offer is only good until January 11, 2010 so you have to act quick.

As we all know Cabela’s has everything you need for camping and all other outdoor sports. One thing we really haven’t talked about on this camping gear blog is shooting gear. While this isn’t a police gun review site, there are a lot of people that like to shoot in the wilderness. Cabela’s has a ton of shooting gear for to you choose from. They offer ammunition, rifles, shotguns, black powder, and many more accessories. Another great place to find shooting gear are at police gear stores.

ResQ-Pak

Best Camping Gear Reviews and Police Equipment Reviews recently had the opportunity to review a first aid product. The product is called ResQ-Pak and it is an emergency trauma kit. Many police officers will find the ResQ-Pak handly in case of major trauma scenes. What's great about the ResQ-Pak's are they are very compact allowing a police officer or anybody for that matter to always carry one.

When it comes to camping gear, ResQ-Pak makes an emergency trauma kit that is perfect for fishing, hunting, or any outdoors activity. The kit includes the following:

25g Quik–Clot® Sport™
Tegaderm 2 3/8" x 2 3/4" dressing
5" x 9" ABD pad
4" x 75" roll bandage
40" x 40" x 56" triangular bandage
two sets 4" x 3" cover sponges
combat medic tape
non-latex gloves
rescue whistle
mylar blanket

So how does ResQ-Pak work? With all the supplies in one easy to get package you have what you need at your hands. When a person comes upon or gets a traumatic injury, he or she can use the Quik-Clot to stop the bleeding. In the camping gear kit, one would hold the Quik-Clot firmly to the injury for at least 5 minutes while the blood clots. Then using the other supplies bandage it up and get medical treatment as soon as possible.

ResQ-Pak is a great kit to always have with you. You never know when you are going to come across an injured hiker and the ResQ-Pak can save their life!

For ordering information check out the ResQ-Pak review on the police gear site.

Online Camping Gear Stores

More and more camping gear stores are turing to online to do business. This is a great way for them to keep overhead costs down. All they need is a good eCommerce hosting plan and a little sweat equity to make a good online store. Best Camping Gear Reviews is very knowledgable in the web hosting industry and wants to pass on some things before you go and make an online camping gear purchase.

1) Make sure you are dealing with a reptuable company. Anybody can set up an affiliate program with a camping gear manufacturer but not everybody can run an honest business. The problem you have with affilate programs is that the website you are ordering from is only a middle man, they aren't the ones that are going to be helping you with your problems. For example, if you buy one of the Kelty tents through an affiliate program and the tent is defected. You really think the middle man is going to care about your problems? NO! They are probably selling Callaway X22 irons also. Stick to big name camping gear stores such as REI or Cabelas and you won't have any problems.

2) If you do order online from a smaller outdoor gear store, make sure that they are running secure eCommerce websites. The way you can tell this is if they have notifications on thier website informing you of this. Typically the best shopping carts will be secured so you won't have a problem. If the site is not secure, you risk having your identity stolen.

3) Finally, check out thier return policy. I know it is strange, but some camping equipment stores that have both online and retail stores won't allow online purchases to be returned at the retail store.

Buying from an online camping gear store can save you some money and time, if you know how to conduct online transactions! Good luck and we will see you at the campground!

Best Coolers for Camping!

Best Camping Gear Reviews knows how important it is to have a good cooler when you go camping. That is why we treat coolers as one of the most important pieces of camping gear that you need. Coolers keep your food cold, your food fresh, and keep your freshly caught fish fresh! There are so many different types of coolers that it can be confusing. This Best Camping Gear Reviews is going to discuss the best coolers for camping!

Obviously Coleman coolers are some of the best camping coolers. They have been around for a very long time and all of their coolers are high quality. They offer different types of coolers, different sizes, and equipped with different features. All of the Coleman coolers are rated for a specific day time frame. This is very important for you especially if you are going on a long camping trip and relying on your Coleman cooler.

Another manufacturer of some of the best camping coolers is Igloo. Igloo is the most popular camping cooler owned. They offer about 11 different sizes of coolers so you are sure you will find one that fits your needs. Most of the Igloo coolers can be equipped with a pull handle and wheels. This comes in so handy when you are having lug your camping coolers into deserted camp area.

Best Camping Gear Reviews loves both the Coleman coolers and Igloo coolers. No matter which brand you go with you can be sure you are getting some of the best camping coolers!

Glock guns

Holy cow has it been some time since I last blogged about camping gear! I'm really sorry. The camping gear site has taken off and I have been getting requests from some camping equipment manufacturers to turn it into an online camping gear store. Not to sure if I want to have set up an e-commerce site and deal with sales. Kinda just like freely writing about outdoor gear! If I do though, I have already found a great cheap web hosting company that will host it for me, HostMonster. They have everything you could want if you were thinking of starting an online camping gear store!

Today's camping gear product that I am going to talk about could be considered more of police gear. It's the Glock handguns. The reason why I am going to talk about the Glock handguns is because campers sometimes carry guns with them for their protection. They are even popular for hunting.

Glock guns are some of the best handguns made. There are Glock 40 s, Glock 9mm handguns, and even baby Glocks! Baby Glocks are not for babies, they are smaller versions of the Glock guns. Glock guns are very accurate and reliable. Best Camping Gear Reviews owns a Glock 27 and Glock 22. They have few pieces to them so there is a less chance of breaking. What are the prices of Glock guns? They range from about $400 to $600 depending on the sights you get. If you are in the market for a new handgun, definately check out the Glock guns! They can be found at almost all police supply stores.
